Alli Webb, Drybar founder: Let's get to know the power of purple. Meet our Blonde Ale Brightening Collection [Image of Blonde Ale collection]. With deep purple pigments and nourishing ingredients [close-up of hand squeezing product out of bottle], this collection brightens and eliminates brass in blonde, gray, white, and highlighted hair [several women with blonde hair shown]. First, start with Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo [woman squeezes shampoo into her hand and washes her hair with it]. This gentle formula cleanses without drying out strands and the purple pigments neutralize brassiness [close-up of hands rubbing together with the shampoo]. Next, we have the Blonde Ale Vibrance-Boosting Brightening Powder [hand reaches for the powder sachet]. After shampooing, pour the entire packette into your palm [hand pours powder into other hand]. Add a few drops of water [hand squeezes water into the powder] and emulsify into a paste [hands rub together and powder starts to lather]. Work into your hair and lather from roots to ends. Leave in for up to five minutes to work its brightening magic [woman in shower applies product to her hair]. Next, condition from mid-shaft to ends with Blonde Ale Brightening Conditioner [hand squeezes conditioner out of tube]. This color enhancing formula detangles, softens, and hydrates blonde and highlighted hair to boost vibrancy and add shine [woman showering]. And once a week give your locks extra hydration with Blonde Ale Color-Enhancing Brightening Mask in place of Blonde Ale Conditioner [image of Brightening Mask]. Your strands will drink up all the purple goodness in this nourishing, thirst-quenching formula. Apply a generous dollop from roots to ends [hand squeezes product out of bottle]. Leave in for up to five minutes, then rinse and style as usual. Ta-dah! [cheering] Replenished and renewed. So when it comes to boosting, brightening, and eliminating brass, remember to use the power of purple. [Alli blows purple confetti into the camera]

Fantastic Shampoo but poor packaging
Great shampoo, I absolutely love it. I have received so many compliments on my hair since I started using it. My only complaint is about the lids. I keep my bottles in an upright position and these caps constantly leak. I have purple shampoo all down my shower wall from these bottles. Such a waste.
Report this reviewWorks well
Overall, I like that I notice how well it keeps my blonde highlights from turning brassy. However, after rinsing it out, it makes my hair really tangle-y and hard to run my fingers through. Because it works well, I don't have to use it often so it does last me awhile. I do have thick, long and wavy hair so it might be a better formula for thinner hair.
Report this reviewBrightened my hair!
Love this stuff!! I have a mixed blonde silver & light brown hair color and it made it brighter!! Thanks!!

I've only used the a few times, but I'm pleased so far. My scalp is happy, my white hairs are nice and white! Thank you Drybar!
